You should post this in the Espresso Forum




Factors contains channeling are mainly in two types.
1. Too little the resistance
2. Too much the resistance



Constant the dose, adjust the grind.
Isolate the tamp.

do you mean the grind is too fine and too much ??

thanks..

because I found that 200 gram coffee make less than 10 shots and no need hard tamp the puck can be move down easily...

1. Too coarse the grind...Too little the coffee...
2. Too fine the grind... Too much the coffee...


1. Too coarse the grind or Too little the dose, is already a problem.


2. If there is too much resistance water would only go through the coarse particle to go out, thus channeling.
