Very attractive price, I didn't think twice to go for it.
Since it is a 6 year old machine, I have orderred parts for upgrade (gauge) and maintenance (gasket, O-ring, etc...) which is needed. |

I am so happy to find someone with la pavoni here. I just got mine few days ago, it is the europiccola.
I am still using the plastic tamper that comes with the machine, it is so much smaller than the PF rim.
i have one big question, when i do the pull, i only get 15seconds of extraction. do you think i press too hard too quick ? if i did it slowly the coffee comes out dripping instead of a nice constant flow. is it possible that i grind it too fine ?
please share some tips on using this lever machine. i am much appreciate it. thanks ! |

| if the extraction times only 15 sec i think u might be under dosing, if dripping then probably tamped too hard or coffee grinded too fine? |

I am new and inexperience to lever. My extraction usually take 20 to 30 sec with reasonable pulling pressure.
I think, your grind may be a bit too coast. What grinder are you using? I got a proper 51mm tamper from Taobao which I think is very useful. |
