A good and econormy solution to have milk based coffee.
Preheat some milk and a frother to make it foamy.
I have tested with good latte art result;
even use a mocha pot to make strong coffee base for latte.
HKD$22.00- in IKEA.
Of course, powerful machines provide good steam (dry enough).
Double boiler machines are good.
For home use, new Gaggia Twin Baby is the best domestic espresso maker for milk based coffee. It comes with double boiler. |

Should have a look at the Breville Ikon. You can get it for around AUD 300. It is a boiler machine 0.6 liter i think. However, the basket is a dual wall pressurised basket, so you will need to go get a normal basket to get good espresso |

For that price range, you might want to look at the delongi at myer, there is one at around 100 AUD. I have used the sunbeam b4 and I am not too sure about the espresso performance but the steam is quite wet. [/quote] |
